The University of Washington takes pride in PCBS and places its seal on the PCBS certificates of graduation. The University also
offers PCBS graduates the opportunity to earn credit toward an MBA at the UW.
On August 22, 1938, the first class of 100 bankers assembled on the University of Washington campus to
embark on the first year of Pacific Coast Banking School. In fact, the school was begun by prominent bankers in the state of Washington, as well as the director
of the School of Business Administration of the University of Washington. We are pleased to continue our partnership with this prestigious Seattle-based university
and the UW's Foster Graduate School of Business.
The University of Washington has continually been a key player in the success of PCBS. Members of their distinguished faculty have contributed to the development
and delivery of our outstanding curriculum. PCBS housing and meals are on the University of Washington campus, and classes have been held each summer for over 70 years
in the ivy-covered halls which surround the beautiful UW campus in Seattle.
