Ryan Mauer

Ryan Mauer serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer for WaFd Bank. Prior to joining the bank in 2007, Mr. Mauer spent 16 years with Seafirst Bank / Bank of America, where he served in various roles in both consumer and commercial banking.

While at WaFd Bank, Mr. Mauer has served in the roles of commercial banker, Division Manager of the Seattle Commercial Banking Group, and as Deputy Chief Credit Officer. Mr. Mauer became Chief Credit Officer in October of 2019.

Mr. Mauer has served on the Board of the University of Washington Consulting and Business Development Center, and previously served on the Board of the Bellevue Chamber of Commerce. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Washington and is a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School.
