Jill Rice
Chief Credit Officer – Banner Bank

Jill Rice is a seasoned credit professional with over 34 years of increasing leadership responsibilities in the Pacific Northwest. Her experience includes working with all sizes of commercial credit and risk management and work-out situations, in addition to promoting culture change and overseeing systems conversions.

Ms. Rice joined Banner Bank in 2002 as a Regional Credit Risk Manager, later promoted to Senior Credit Officer overseeing the commercial banking credit function in 2008, and was promoted to her current position as Chief Credit Officer in 2020.

Prior to joining Banner, Ms. Rice spent ten years leading Credit Administration at a community bank and began her banking career as a Senior Bank Examiner with the FDIC. Ms. Rice earned her bachelor’s degree from Western Washington University, is a graduate of Pacific Coast Banking School, and has held the RMA Credit Risk Certification since 2009.
