Kate Salyers
Executive Vice President & Chief Credit Officer — Citizens Bank

Chief Credit Officer at Citizens Bank, she plays a key role in maintaining the firm’s position as a leading community bank in the region. Over the years, she’s held various leadership roles within lending and credit administration. Today, in addition to her work at Citizens Bank, Kate chairs the Community Banks of Oregon Board, and is a member of both the OBA Lending Committee and the Risk Management Association’s Community Bank Council.

Her previous experience includes serving as Senior Vice President/Credit Administrator for Oregon Pacific Bank; Senior Vice President/Special Assets manager for Pacific Continental Bank; and Board Director for the Eugene Foundation, which is dedicated to supporting non-profit organizations that provide assistance and services to the children of Lane County.

Kate graduated from the University of Oregon in Eugene with degrees in both business and economics. She is a regular guest speaker in the university’s Commercial Banking classes. When not banking, Kate enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys.
