Harlan Hill is the founder, president, and owner of Hill Financial Education, a professional teaching firm serving domestic and international banking and finance organizations. Teaching in-person and virtually throughout the United States, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Australia, the firm established a solid reputation among clients for practical, hands-on delivery of classic and complex credit topics ranging from middle market, corporate credit underwriting, and corporate finance applications to specialized energy, agriculture, and real property finance.
Prior to launching his independent business career, Harlan spent 13 years as a Relationship Manager and Loan Officer in the large corporate, real estate, and upstream energy lending verticals at what are now Bank of America and JP Morgan Chase Bank.
Harlan’s teaching experience began as an adjunct professor of finance at SMU in Dallas, Texas and at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio where he taught undergraduate finance topics, including introduction to finance, commercial banking and real estate finance, consistently receiving “top 5” faculty reviews. Harlan teaches a core course in Credit Risk Management at Pacific Coast Banking School.
